Running Times Magazine

Alicia was a tremendous asset and fun to work with at Running Times Magazine. She was able to increase revenue by 40% in her first year at the magazine, where she was responsible for print and web advertising sales to running events and classified advertisers. Alicia quickly developed great rapport with her clients and built solid, successful partnerships to fit their individual needs. Alicia’s passion for the sport and her intuitive, savvy marketing skills give her a unique, fresh perspective. One could not find a more valuable team player than Alicia O’Neill.

We hired Alicia to help us bring in new business for the 2008 Official Boston Marathon Program Magazine. She delivered far more than expected. Her contacts and relationships with both running event and product advertisers proved to be a winning combination. Alicia is professional, tenacious, and a pleasure to work with. We are pleased to have her back with us again for the 2009 publication.”

Peaksware/Training Peaks

Alicia did a tremendous job working for us in 2008 to develop opportunities in the road race marketplace to distribute Hal Higdon's web-based training plans delivered through TrainingPeaks.com. Her knowledge of this niche market is comprehensive and her relationships with the influencers are solid. Alicia helped us explore the running market and she put together some important deals that provided us insight in how to move forward in this market. She's great to work with, and we were lucky to have her expertise on this project.

MMRF Marathon Charity Program
|
|
|
Alicia launched a national marathon charity program for us with the 2007 NYC marathon. In 2008, we expanded to Boston, Chicago, NY, and Marine Corps. and beyond. The 2009 program is on the horizon, and we are expecting to raise at least $500,000 with more than 100 MMRF Marathon team members.
It is through her knowledge of the running industry, her connections with event directors, and her tremendous understanding of the charity marathon runner marketplace that we were able to make this program a success and one of the MMRF’s most exciting and up-and-coming new sources of fundraising.
She is a real professional who we are so very fortunate to have associated with us. Alicia is the reason that we have a successful MMRF Marathon Program.
